We have successfully helped small businesses in North Carolina since 1997 through two nonprofit economic development organizations, East Carolina Development Company, Inc., and Piedmont Development Company, Inc. Our purpose is to help emerging and expanding small businesses which have been unable to obtain financing through traditional lenders.
We parter with USDA Rural Development through their Intermediary Relending Program (IRP) and the Rural Business Enterprise Grant Program (RBEG).
Our goal is to create and save jobs, increase the tax base and spur economic development in rural areas.
